Nigerian governors propose N22,500 the lowest pay permitted by law

The governors of Nigeria’s 36 states say they can just pay N22,500 as new national the lowest pay permitted by law.

The governors said this Tuesday after a crisis meeting of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) in Abuja.

The Chairman of the gathering, Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara, gave the result of the gathering in an announcement.
